Some of my favorite hopeful environmental media ❤
Kiss the Ground (Movie!) – This is a perfect intro to the idea of storing carbon in our soils ❤
Allan Savory Ted Talk – A little controversial but I love it.
Some folks debate some of the claims made here – but the greening of the desertified land in the videos is undeniable- and to me the basic principle behind this idea makes sense.
This Ted Talk gave me hope long ago when I was very down about climate change, because it was the first time I learned about the potential of storing carbon in our soils.
Extremely inspiring, and I feel like Allan Savory has inspired so many- thank you ❤
Sam Bentley – This guy is awesome; he shares so much great stuff! ❤
Planet Wild – Amazing YouTube channel about doing awesome earth healing projects ❤
Mossy Earth – Ditto Planet Wild but a bit more of a chill vibe, in my opinion ~ 🙂 ❤
They are both great!
How We Can Eat Our Landscapes – Pam Warhurst Ted Talk! I love this- inspiring, amazing- I think this should be everywhere, an all time fav ❤
The Fastest Way To Slow Climate Change Now! – A new and recent fav!!!
Can Dirt Save the Earth? – A wonderful New York Times Magazine article -behind a paywall, unfortunately. (It’s on my to-do to write to them and ask if they might consider letting it out from behind said paywall- cause it’s so important.) BUT IT MIGHT BE AT YOUR LIBRARY!!!
…
I am almost certainly forgetting things, but more to come & more to learn, here’s to an ever-growing list but for now- here’s my top favs ❤
Thanks! I hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think of my favs, and share your own please 🙂
O! and if you really love any of them, please share with your friends and family and perfect strangers 🙂
And your local city councils especially!!!
PS- Some of these I haven’t watched or read in quite some time, but I know whenever I do revisit these pieces of media they give me hope, and I am very thankful to those who created them/ are creating them- thank you for your good work!
